The Shrine at the Lake (Sunset Blvd at Pacific Coast Highway) is a lovely, multi-acre garden with walking paths, a large pond, meditation areas, art, beautiful flowers and trees, etc.

Malibu Beach Inn used to be very romantic, but I don't know what it's going to be like now that David Geffin has his mitts on it (plus if I recall correctly, it's closed for renovations until February or so. Plus, the prices have probably skyrocketed. Thanks again, DAVID GEFFIN.)

Chateau Marmont (on Sunset) is extremely romantic, I think. Lovely garden, legendary history, cool pool, cool people.

Quirky romantic--you can get an absolutely stunning view of the Hollywood sign on the upper level of the outdoor parking garage at the Home Depot on Western. Park on the far right, and pack a light, romantic picnic to eat on the hood of your car!

The Hollywood Bowl is always romantic.

The Will Geer theater in Topanga is lovely. Actually, any mountaintop overlooking the ocean/sunset in Topanga is lovely.

someplace in Laguna sea coast the place the water is gorgeous. possibly you should take her for a walk on the sea coast dazzling in the previous sunset & then get down on your knee dazzling because of the fact the solar is going down. you will have slightly picnic set up on the sea coast too with a bottle of Champagne, 2 glasses, & some dessert or some berries & cream or some thing like that waiting to have fun. If she says "no" then purely drink the full bottle your self & you will experience greater helpful, for an hour or so anyhow. j/ok. good success.
