here in the states, we have laws to protect us from the bad guys and i'm happy about it. if you have just one felony on your record you have a harder time getting a job in Oregon. in Oregon, they check back until you are18, when you're filling out an applacation on most jobs. when you try to fill out an applacation for most companies in Washington state they only go back ten yrs. i will admit, we can go for the boats in alaska, or, for the truck driving companies that are wiling to train you. there are outlets that you can go for, i'm looking for inforamtion about Minnasota and Chicago because i'm gonna try there in about one year, getting tired of the west coast. so, lets extend a hand to your brothers and sisters, don't give a hand out, but a hand up! thanx

My girlfriend and I are taking a road trip to St. Louis and are looking for any recommendations for hotels and attractions. We are planning on seeing the arch, brewery, and the zoo so far. Are there any others? Good bars also?

Hi, moving to DC this week and I need a great MD, like an internist or family doctor. I look for experience and friendliness and connections to a decent hospital.

Also looking for a really outstanding dentist in DC.

Thanks.

Bob

Hi, I love singing at open mic nites at piano bars and also at karaoke bars. I was wondering what the best places are in DC and environs. I am looking for a really good piano bar where I can bring my sheet music. I heard there is such a place. I also like local karaoke bars where you can sing all night and they don't rob you by charging you to sing per song. Any ideas?

This will be my first vacation or trip out of the city or state of Kentucky. I am looking for fun places to visit and that is not going to take a chunk out of my wallet either. I like all kinds of different things and one is I love old buildings. If you all could please pass on some suggestions and ideas. Please let me know and thanks a lot.

My man just went down there and is staying with some chick he claims is his friend and I just want to know what the setting is like. He said they are off city limits in some small town? Any insight??? He said that everyone knows each other and that they are in the boonies??? What is it like out there? Nice or really poor and depressed looking. Please let me know.. Also, what are the houses out there like? The houses that they auction off for dirt cheap??? I need to know. Is this like appalachia or what?

We're heading to Cape Cod next week for a vacation and would like to find a place for good lobster and seafood at a reasonable price...anyone have any suggestions? And Red Lobster isn't a good one!

We'd also like to know a few fun places to visit maybe around the Cape, Boston or Hartford areas. We'll be in and around the New England states (MA, CT, etc).

Ive only been to Atlanta once and visited Marietta, and Buckhead. Im getting out of the frozen tunda here (Wisconsin) and moving to the Atlanta area next month. Id love to live in the Buckhead district, but cant really afford it. Im hoping to find a nice house for rent for $1000 to $1300 a month that has easy access to bars and shopping and not too far away from where most of the jobs are. Any suggestions?
