Most of the places around GA 400 would be considered really good areas, for both living and night life etc. The following towns are located in this area, Dunwoody,Roswell, Alpharetta, and even Cumming. Cumming is a little further from Atlanta but has the advantage of Lake Lanier, and you can find some nice homes even lake homes for rent in or near your price range.
Technology park is located just north of Alpharetta, and houses alot of business large and small. Also, Coca-Cola and several other large corporations located just off GA400. Along with the night life at Lake lanier is cocktail cove, home to several boating parties every weekend during the warmer months. Cocktailcove.com worth a look. Excellent golf courses, and you are only 30 minutes from some of the best motorcycle riding ever. Good luck in your search, and I will be glad to answer other questions about the area if it could help and save you some leg work.

Atlanta wouldn't have an outstanding format for living close to nightlife and public transportation. Virginia Highlands is by skill of far the perfect community for strolling to nightlife (bars usually, no longer dance golf equipment), yet only isn't close to a subway station. Buckhead will be extreme priced yet extremely there are the variety of tremendous number of condominium complexes, and new ones taking pictures up consistently, plus condos that human beings can't promote, you'll locate an section for warm funds (as hostile to Atlantic Station the position each little thing became equipped in the finest 2 years, there aren't any deals to be got here across there). the realm close to the Lindbergh MARTA station will be what you're searching for. Midtown is tremendous yet a protracted holiday to NW Atlanta, and it is also form of a gay section so if that makes you uncomfortable, you does no longer like it there. also i'd upload, living in Atlanta isn't as terrible or stressful as human beings from outdoors the fringe (suburbs) would make it out to be. huge chunks of the city of Atlanta look like the suburbs, complete of strip branch shops and parking a lot, homes that are not very close together. i have paid possibly $25 entire for parking contained in the previous 12 months.
