take the Luck Streak bus to Atlantic City would be the cheapest way. You have to be 21 years of age or older.

What you need to do is go to the New York Port Authority bus terminal, buy a round trip ticket to Atlantic City from Greyhound. When you get to the casino, you will have a cash-back bonus of 20 dollars. You can either spend it or cash it.

You can also order a ticket now. The website is:

Don't remember to ask for a copy of the bus schedule.
Good luck!

Go to Port Authority and take the Acadaemy Bus to Atlantic City
There are two terminals at Port Authority.
You need the one closer to 42 Street.
Ask someone to direct you to the Academy ticket booth, ask for the gate number, it may be on your ticket folder.

Atlantic city is definately too far for only one evening, highly from ny. I stay in north jersey, and that i'm taking a number of my acquaintances for lunch and dessert, and then to work out a broadway teach. yet i imagine your comedy club theory is distinctly cool too.

Look for one of the bus lines that go directly to one of the casinos. They are cheap and give you food or gambling credit making the trip cheap or free.
