Three adults looking to visit the Big Island. Can anyone help me?
Can't decide what side to stay on - the Kona side? Is it hard to get from one side to the other by car, or is it too far? We would be staying at least 8 days in late November. Will the water be too cold? Interested in staying at the Mauna Lanai Bay Hotel (think that's it) but worried it could get boring for 8 days in one location, if we have to drive all day to sites. All suggestions appreciated!Thank You, Thank You!!!

I'm moving to Oklahoma in 2days and I've heard so many mixed things about it. Can someone please help me out by telling me anything you know about the schools, shopping, neighborhoods, anything you know. I'm moving to a city near Tinker Air Force Base. A few years ago in one of my college classes we saw a movie about a town in Oregon. This town was near some of the last remaining low elevation old forest left. Some timber company wanted to log it. The movie was about the conflict and eventually the land was protected.

Does anyone know the name of the town or movie?

Was born in New England and have lived in Hawaii for most of my adult lift. Have ONE night in a hotel in Foxboro (So. of Boston). Plane arrives at 5pm and I would love to eat in an old dark wood restaurant that serves good food - AND - since I am asking - Steak and Seafood would be nice but I remember getting Pizza on the East Coast and it was the best in my world. So, if anyone is framiliar with the drive from Logan Airport, South to Foxboro and you think I would like a restaurant please let me know. I leave on the 6th of Oct.

I am just curious. I get asked a lot of crazy things when I am in other states and I say I am from NM. People ask if I am enjoying my visit to the United States (I am not kidding!) or they ask if we have grass. my husband and i are taking a trip to massachusetts this month. i am brazilian portuguese but grew up knowing nothing of my culture. im from oklahoma and there isnt really any portuguese culture there (resturaunts, celebrations, etc....). i am constantly wanting to find out new things about my heritage. does anyone know if there are any portuguese resturaunts, celebrations, etc...in massachusetts that i might be able to go to? any advice is appreciated, thanks!
