There are hot springs all over America. Pick the state you want to visit and check for them on line. Everyone should experience a hot spring in their life. A mineral hot springs is even better yet! I love going to our favorite one.

Harbin Hot Springs retreat is located near Calistoga, California. You can soak all day long in the warm pool (96-98 deg) or try the hot (113 deg) or cold plunge spring pools. It's located in a beautiful mountainous region where you can take hikes, camp, or view wildlife like deer and turkeys. You can also take personal development and yoga classes or get massages at the retreat center. They are especially known for their watsu (water shiatsu) treatment.

For a very relaxing and cheap -about $25 per day w/ membership- vacation, you should try Harbin. But be aware that it's a clothing optional retreat-so if you're squeamish about nudity, you might want to check out a different place. Oh, and though you'll see mostly adults here, kids and families are welcome.
