The Orchard Hotel is a great boutique hotel that is reasonably priced. Its in a great location right next to one of the tram lines. Its also a short walk to the main shopping area and chinatown.

Stay where you will, but have dinner at the best Vietnamese restaurant in america and spot the stars.
Don Johnson owns it and my ex created it.
Ana Mandara Restaurant on Polk St.
You won't be dissapointed, and it's worth the cost.
