I'm taking my friend to Hawaii for 10 days to relax and forget about all the problems he's got going on at home right now. He considers himself a hippie, he smokes pot and would probably like to hang out with other hippies and drink and smoke in a relaxing places that's not too touristy... How do I get from South Bend's Southshore Line to Midway Airport on Orange Line? (virgin railway traveler!)

To all you expert Chicago Railway Travelers:
My child and I are flying to Florida next week out of Midway airport. I would like to economize and take the train from my local airport (South Bend) and go directly to Midway. I have never taken any public transportation, so this is posing quite the challenge for me. I would appreciate any information, and the more specific, the better. (Time it would take from point A to point B, cost, etc...) I looked up the information on the transit Chicago website, but got pretty confused. I understand that I have to change trains somewhere, so but unsure of where. Any help you have to offer me would be greatly appreciated!

I need to rent a car for my upcoming trip. Rent A Gem charges $20.25 per day plus 14 cents per mile.

At first glance it loks like I should go with Super Savers Rentals. Still, I'm concerned about the per mile charge because I plan to do a lot of driving during all three days of my trip.

How many miles would I have to drive to make the cost of renting a car from Rent A Gem the same as the cost of renting a car from Super Saver Rentals? Best and most romantic place to visit in New York City?

I've never visited New York City ever. My boyfriend lives in Brooklyn and he is wanting me to visit to get the "feel" of the city before relocating myself half way across the nation. In this though he also asked if there was any place in particular I wanted to visit. I know that New York City can be a very romantic (along with crude) place. I was just wanting some input.
