I would like to know as much as possible about the Orlando/ Kissimmiee Florida area before getting there. Anything will be helpful. I am not looking for hangout etc. I am a 30 some woman moving because her husband teaches at MMI. Please I am afraid. I am so used to small areas.

I was browsing through houses under Yahoo real estate in San Antonio because my husband and I might move there for his job. I was so amazed how much the cost of housing are! 4 bedroom/2 1/2 bath, almost 2,000 sqf and really nices houses!! For those texan residents, may I ask why they are so cheap?

I am gonna have a trip to Vegas (Jan 4 - Jan 12). I will order a good hotel for the first two days but then prices go up and I do not want to spend so much. Is it possible to find vacant rooms in usual motels near LV and Grand Canyon? Is it difficult to park cars in LV if you stay in motel near city? Can I use cash to pay for motels. May be somebody knows or have such expirience. Thanks for help!

While on a vacation to NYC I want to go up to Philly for the day. I was thinking of going up on a Sunday in December. Are the touristy things open on a Sunday? Would there be a better day to visit? Also should I spend the night there, or can you see enough in just 1 day and take the train back to NYC in the evening?
