So, I have no problem getting in pics with the characters that are 'fuzzy' and in suits, but I have never gotten in a pic with a face character because I'm the shy girl, and I wouldn't know what to say to them, and I feel too old.
But, I really want a pic with peter pan and perhaps a few princesses.
Any adults ever go to Ariel's grotto to get a pic with ariel?

The beach is obvious. ...

I'm more interested in things like the best restaurants, shopping etc. I also like reptiles. Are there any reptile stores in the area worth checking out? Thanks in advance.

First of all I want to thank you guys who answered my previous questions about Vegas and thank you for your advices.

I ordered Circus Circus Jan 4-7 and Fitzgeralds Casino & Hotel Jan 7-12. I just want to try both Strip and Downtown location and these hotels were pretty cheap.

But I have some new questions:
1). Is Fitzgeralds Casino & Hotel a good place ? Is Fremont St. a good place to stay?
2). Does Fitzgeralds Casino & Hotel have a shuttle service "hotel-Strip"? Is it convinient to use? If not, can I park my car (better free of course) somewhere on Strip?
3). These two hotels have outdoor pools. Is it possible to swim there on January?

Thanks again for your help. I promise these are my last questions :-)))

I will be in Uptown (I think, lol) Chicago for a concert at the Riviera Theatre.. and I am curious if anyone knows of any reasonably priced hotels in this area? I'd like something close to the Riviera (or as close as possible). If I just try to get a room somwhere when I get there would I still need a credit card to get a room or would cash be okay? If I have to have a credit card, would a debit card with the 'Mastercard' symbol on it be acceptable?

Also I'll be travelling from the Greyhound station to that area, approximately how much would taxi/cab fare be? *almost too scared to ask*

I've seen NYC from the Empire State Building and the sadly lost WTC. I've also been to the Met rooftop garden. I hear Rockefeller center now has a new observation deck, but I'd really like a chance to see the NY skyline from a more uncommon location, especially at night. Perhaps a bar/restaurant where photography is allowed. Your recommendations would be appreciated.

I'm from California, born and raised, but my family is living in Colorado and I'm sick of the high costs of California, so next year my fiancee and I will be moving to Colorado. We use to live in Santa Cruz which has a population of 60,000 and we loved it (although it did get a little boring). Now we live in San Diego and it's way too big for us. Unfortionately we won't be able to check out some cities in Colorado before we move, so I'm asking for people's opinions. We've narrowed it down to Fort Collins, Boulder (although Boulder's a bit expensive) and Colorado Springs. Which of those three cities do you think is best and why? We're not big on the night scene or anything, we're really just looking for a nice place with lots of stuff to do outside (especially with our dog) and nice people.

I'm planning to move to New York and want to know if it's wise to travel alone to New York, is it dangerous? Non of my friends want to travel down to New York, they like it in California and don't want to use up their vacation time, so I guess I will be traveling alone.

How much do you think I need in order to stay in New York for about a week? Nothing fancy, just a place to sleep and the resource to see New York as a New Yorker. Thank you for your insight. Also, how's the college there? Is it better then California?

Do people from New York act differently from people living in California? I live in CA, Sacramento, and am planning to move to New York, I heard it's for the 'young and bold' where dreams can be made and broken.

Are people from New York ruder? What are they like? I don't mind if New Yorkers are ruder, I just need to know so that I know what to expect and not take it personal. Thank you for your insight.
