I have never been there before and I'm heading up there next week with a friend. I'm wondering what it is like. Is it similar to Cape Cod? Is there a lot to do up there?

I would like a beach campground were you can set up your tent on the sand area. The camp ground also needs to allow camp fires. And whould realy be great is if it were in Long Beach area Up to one hour away is fine.
Thank you veary much

My boyfriend and I are planning a little mini get-away in October, we are going to be there for Sunday and Monday and we are driving back on Tuesday.........what would you recommend....any must see shows or clubs to go to? I've only been there once and that was a long time ago and he has never been, we are both 23 so we're legal enough to do just about anything.

Hello there,
As an European, I am curious how do you find some myths that most europeans think about the USA people...for example "the Americans are naive", "the Americans are hard working"...so here I divided the good and bad things that most europeans associate with USA:

Good things:
-USA is the richest country in the world and middle and rich people live great.
-People work hard and are punctual.
-They have sense of humour.
-Girls are nice.
-Cool cities such as LA,Miami,New York
-Funny president aka Bush :)
-Nice pronounciation of the English language
-Optimistic way of thinking.

So here are the "bad" things:
-People are naive.
-A lot of fat men and women.
-A lot of serial killers hehe.
-Crime is more than even Columbia :)
-A lot different races...Chinese...Mexicans
-People are too conservative and too religious
-They dont care enough for how they look.
-Very "tight minded"..for example they dont know where is Australia?

Thanks alot!

You know how if you know what to ask for you can generally get a better arrangement than if you just walk in to a hotel not knowing what to request? I don't want them to throw us into the lamest room available just because we didn't know what to request! If you've been there before or have any suggestions, they would be most appreciated!

I just saw it and it was so sad. I was crying at the end of the movie, as were other people in the theatre.

It gave me a different insight into what happened that day.

I'll be staying at the Marriott Waikiki Beach for two days pre-cruise. We are renting a car upon our return from our cruise, but for the pre-cruise, will just be staying in Waikiki and I'd prefer not to deal with a rental car in Waikiki (anyone who's been there knows why.) Is it feasible to walk to Diamond Head from there? Just wondering if that's possible. Any highways involved? Thanks in advance!

My fiancee is from Chicago and we are getting married in August in Chicago. I am planning on moving to Chicago before then but am unsure as to when would be the best time in regards to finding a job. When would companies do the most hiring? I am trying to find a job in the auditing/accounting/finance field. Anyone have any leads?
