I'm wondering about location, buffet (food info).. and anything else that's interesting/important.
Ah, and it's one adult plus two kids (14 and 12).

Monte Carlo is nice... Ive stayed there. Its in a good location near the Bellagio and NYNY. THe pool is nice.. and they have one of those lazy river pools which is nice. They have tubes you can rent. I don't have kids... and never been to Vegas with kids, but I do know that most of the hotels have arcades, pools, and some (NYNY, Sahara, Stratosphere) have Rollar coasters. Circus Circus is certainly and option fo rthem too... lots of arcade and carnival games with live circus acts frequently. Also, if they are into looking at animalsm Mandalay Bay has a shark tank you can walk through, MGM has lion cubs, Flamingo has (shocking!) flamingos, Mirage has white tigers and dolphins. Also, at night be shure to see the Bellagio water fountains, the Mirage "volcano", and the Treasure Island Pirate show. Also, if you take a trip over to Rio (free shuttle from Harrahs or quick taxi trip) they have a Mardi Gras themed parade thing with floats for kids. Best part most of the stuff I listed above is free. Tripadvisor gives this hotel some pretty good ratings... here is the link! HAve a good time in Vegas and GOOD LUCK!

I have stayed there 2 or 3 times and I like it OK. The rooms are good and its in a pretty good location for getting to see other attractions on the strip. There is a free monorail fro Monte Carlo to Bellagios if you don't want to walk outside. The hotel has a food court with a McD's, sandwich shop, Nathens hot dog, etc. It has a nice pool area with a wave pool and a lazy river. I like their buffet also because its not quite as expensive as many others. Your kids can go across the street from the hotel to GAME WORKS which has all type video games and a rock climbing wall. There is also a movie theater right across the street from Monte Carlo. Next door in the NY, NY hotel there is an arcade on the second floor. If you want to save money on breakfast or foods, there is a Dennys right across the street, need a drug store? right next door.

I have no problem staying there and they offer internet specials right now; have seen them advertized on TV.

in case you may decide for between the two one in all those, Monte Carlo has nicer rooms, Luxor has greater helpful nightlife, so it style of relies upon on your decision. Monte Carlos in elementary terms club is Diablo, which isn't something specific, Luxor has LAX and cathouse that are the two very effective. Monte Carlo is farther north on the strip, so it extremely is much less strolling in case you planned to stroll to a various nightclub. whilst you're making plans on going to shows, Luxor additionally has greater to grant; Criss Angel, Carrot perfect, fantasy, etc. whilst you are going to stay on the Luxor, p.c. a tower room over the pyramid room, the same old rooms interior the pyramid look smaller. the only factor exciting on the subject of the pyramid is the elevators experience on an perspective.

Totally disagree...Monte Carlo is a very nice hotel right on the strip, almost across from the MGM Grand...(where your kids can see the MGM lions) and I have never heard a bad word about it from anyone who has ever actually stayed there.....It does seem to be a little quieter than most of the strip hotels but maybe they like it that way....I would not hesitate to stay there...but I like the action of the hotter spots...

It's nice and it's close to the Bellagio (which is even nicer) that has a free elaborate fountain extravaganza during the day and evening. It's also close to the Paris Las Vegas that has an Eiffel Tower and to the MGM Grand that has various attractions.

Reviews say that it's not that good. Kinda old. Go to tripreservations.com ( very good deals to that one ) and expedia.com and you'll have a better idea.
