Which beach would you consider the best in Canada? Based on your travels?

I'm going to have to go with the beach in Kelowna, BC. Since it's just beyond the mountains, it's like a little desert town there. You'd think you were in California or something, at that beach.

I'm from France and I will be there end of January.
I suppose I have to bring some hot clothes (winter coats, hats, gloves..) but my main concern is about shoes: do you people in Canada keep your winter boots during day at the office or meetings (I would feel a bit strange keeping them with a tie & suit) What are your habits?

i bought something off ebay and the item should be here and the seller said the post office doesn't give tracking numbers for out of country orders...and he did give me a customs label #...and i cannot check online if it is here...i am confused and am not sure where i am supposed to go...do i go to any post office and give them the customs label #? i am from surrey bc... thanks

So my dream has always been to go to a Devils vs. Habs game in Montreal and i might get to do that on March 1st because it's a day before my birthday. Does anyone know where i can find cheap tickets, hotels and stuff. And, should i be worried about going to a game wearing my devs jersey? I mean, it can't be as bad as going to the garden, but that was a pre-season game. HABS fans aren't hatefull are they?

Personally, I enjoy rudely bumping into Canadians from BC to Nfld and hear them apologize in regional dialects. Mind you, if you think our Marines are tough, try bumping into a soldier of the famed VanDoos (English for vingt-deux, the 22nd Regiment of the Patricia Pats, I think).

I have been a sexual provider for a little while now in Northeaset USA. It is dangerous and there are so many scams, that it is hard to get new clients because people are afraid of getting jacked. In the US all seniors are covered by Medicare, Some states have programs for the uninsured. And most states offer low cost coverage for kids. The problem is that all government run programs are expensive. There seems to be so much waste in any government progams. In fact most things government does seems like a black hole for money. Bueracracy constantly grows. Private buisness always seems to do things more effeciently. Thats why the trend has been to privatize so many things. So I ask you, is it a good deal? Could you do better yourself if you had the money and made your own choices? and use the money yourself for health costs or insurance?
