Canada is a nation that ranks among the very best for its quality of life. This is partly a factor of prosperity and a great environment. But the key factor is its people.Canadian society is recognized for its human values and is built on principles of fairness, compassion, justice, and opportunity for all. These principles are entrenched in our laws and our institutions, but above all they are entrenched in our culture.
Canadian society is defined by its diversity. We continue to learn from the rich history of First Nations and we have always been strengthened by the dynamic relationship between Anglophones and Francophones. Canada is a young society, one that is still being shaped by immigration from the entire world, making us a nation where language, religion and ethnic background are not a source of conflict, but one of understanding and unity.
Spring, summer and autumn are all ideal for touring, though if you want to ski you'll naturally have to come in winter or early spring. For campers and those who want to visit the far north, the summer months of July and August are best. Summer is also when many of the country's festivals take place. Note that the peak tourist season is between Victoria Day (late May) and Labour Day (early September). Although spring and autumn have fewer crowds, lower prices and a more relaxed pace than the summer months, some visitor-oriented facilities and attractions may be closed during these shoulder seasons.
Edit: why do u worry 'bout your friends

It can depend on where in Canada you are asking about. Canada is the 2nd largest country in the world, so the weather varies. One place can get snow once in a blue moon, the lowest temp in -5 C, in the summer it is in the 30's, with a nice breeze coming off the ocean. While other places are -20 C, lots of snow, harsh winds, then in summer it is high humidity and temps. The type of people varies as well. In Quebec and parts of New Brunswick, French is the first language, while in the rest of Canada it is English. There is a mixture of cultures like English, Scottish, Chinese, East Indian, African, Portugese, etc... Unless you elaborate more on what type of information you are looking for, we can't really help you.

Most Canadians speak English~
French is the second language, mainly spoken in Quebec. which is a french province.
The weather ~ summer can be very hot, depending on where you are. The winter's cold, lots of snow. Beautiful mountains, and streams. No doubt about it, it's god's country..
and all the angels live here.

Unlike our stupid friend above, who knows nothing about Canada, we are regular people. Our winters are cold and snowy, our summers are hot! Unlike some countries, we are a bilingual country, which means some Canadians speak french (mostly in the province of Quebec) while others speak english or both. It is a beautiful, sometimes wild country with clean cities, and welcoming people.

Canadians are well known for kindness, peace-loving, and friendly. Sometimes, you may run into some stupid ignorant A**H****. Our weather here is cold in winter, warm in summer, cool in the Fall, and rainy in the spring time.

We have polar bears as pets. During the summer, when the temperature rises to a balmy minus 30 degrees, we enjoy cookouts and BBQ'ing. We have internet connections in our igloos these days.
