You can go with Allo-Stop to Hull and then walk across the river. Some kind of issue prevents them from allowing trips to Ontario.
(It's a lift-sharing system. You pay the driver.)

Usually if you travel by bus return, not just one way, it is cheaper. and it is even more cheaper if you buy it in advance. at least, it was last time I travelled by bus in the summer. That type of ticket, is called an excursion fare.I believe that the bus company's name is - greyhound.It used to be called voyageur-but the company changed names.

Voyageur bus. It's cheaper to buy the return ticket as opposed to one-way.

You can also try VIA trains, if you book early enough, there are cheap fares that compare to the bus.
