it has been my dream to go to france ever since i was little and i want to go sooo bad. but the trip is pretty expensive. even if i use birthday, christmas, and the money that would go for a graduation trip and/or party next year, it will still be really expensive. Plus my parents aren't to fond of me going to Europe for 12 days. How can I convince them?!? HELP PLEASE!!!

My husband and our two children under 5 yrs are driving up to Gatlinburg, TN from Tupelo, MS on the last week of September. This will be our very first family trip there!

I would like to know any info on what to pack for around the last week of September. I hear that the fall season is just beautiful with the leaves changing colors and such.

I have researched a little on a motel called Marshall's Creek Inn. Not very much info on the net, but has very excellent reviews. If anyone has ever stayed in this motel please tell all about it!

Any personal info on this city during "fall" would be greatly appreciated :)

tips on what I should expect? Can we carry an ice chest with drinks/snacks? How much room is inbetween the seats for legs and "stuff". My husband says it can be a scarry group of people riding a bus, but to me, it will be worth it to save that money! Please share your experiences, things you carried on, how far you traveled, etc. Thanks!! BTW, we are going from Houston to Orlando.

I'm a 24 year old girl and I got a job in the city, about a block from the Embarcadero station. I can either try and find a place in the city or live with a friend in walnut creek. so help me decide.

Walnut Creek Good:
live iwth a good friend
i can have a car
good bars
able to drive to the grocery store/go shopping
can join sports team
rent is a WHOLE lot cheaper
live in cute apartment
parking isn't an issue
will still work in SF, so get some of the SF city life experience
can always stay with friends in the city when going out

Walnut Creek Bad:
commute will be 50 minutes or so
BART will be $8.25 a day
won't get the experience of living in the city

City Good:
experience living in the city
cheap to take a bus to work
good bars
short commute

City Bad:
weather
rent is horrendous
will have to find roommates (stressful)
can't have a car (how do i go grocery shopping?)

help me be practicle but still youthful/reckless.

The compensation of 3.000 per indivudual has been granted by the Greek State to the fire victims. To avoid burocracy, because of the emergency, a plane statement by the benefiaciary was deemed to be sufficient for him/her to get this financial aid.
Thousands of impostors from all over Greece, among which many gypsies, seized the "opportunity" to travel to the suffering territories and get this amount, not only from one but from many different banks, taking advantage not only of the fire victims, but of all taxed citizens too.
Who said something about national unanimity, compassion and pride?
