About 600,000 inside the city of Las Vegas. In the metro area it's over 1,700.000. The metro area runs from the township of Lone Mountain east to North Las Vegas and Sunrise Manor and southward to include the other urban townships of Clark County and the incorporated cities of Henderson and Boulder City.
The major urban townships of Clark County are Lone Mountain, Sunrise Manor, Spring Valley, Winchester, Paradise, Whitney, Enterprise and Blue Diamond. The Strip is located in Winchester and Paradise. The incorporated cities in the metro area are North Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Henderson and Boulder City.
I added the other stuff because there is so much mis-information about this area, even from other residents. In fact, many of the newcomers don't even know where they live!
