I am thinking of going to Egypt in July as we went in May this year and loved it. However, it was about 34 degrees and lovely but is it too hot in July? I have 3 and 5 year old that didn't complain once this year so I know they like the heat. Does anyone know what it's like? Have to fit holiday in school hols now!!!

Yeah! I have never been to California but need to go so bad. I'll fly into Oakland about 1:30p on a Saturday. I'm young, fit, and don't mind camping a lot to cut down on expenses. I just need to know the best places to see and sleep in Yosemite and wine country. Best sights and campgrounds in Yosemite, best vineyards and cheapest accomodations in Napa and Sonoma, and anything worth doing in San Fran and Oakland. Can I avoid renting a car for this little circuit? I'm thinking two nights of "luxury" in hotels (but lets keep the rates "budget") out of seven would be about right. Where's the can't-miss food at here, too?

Having read the book, 'Vengeance' that the film was based on, I found the movie rather disappointing. The book w as very moving, but the film far less so, somehow...

Anyone agree/disagree and if so, why?

Am really interested in your views.

I kind of want to go alone, but it's kind of a business trip (delivering legal stuff to a friend) in exchange for travel $.

Is it safe to go alone? Better to go with someone? If it works out well I'd be going back every few months or so.

Are there are chances of getting robbed, raped, kidnapped etc?

I read in a book that there is a temple not far from Madras where 3,000 years ago a great sage wrote on palm leaves the lives and deaths of all men of all time, past, present and future. When a visitor arrives a monk comes out to greet him and takes out one of the yellow leaves where the history of the visitor is written...Is this true? Has anyone been there? Where is this temple? Any info...

I send this question because I am happy as at last I reached level 3 so after congratulation & wow & such this staff that I am waiting for plz answer my question:
Have you ever felt that you are happy because you got thumb down in Y/A??
About me in the begining I got annoyed if I got thumb down, then I discovered that there is some ppl give thumb down just for annoying ppl so I didn't care as long as I am satisfied with my answer. Lately I became happy when I got thumb down from some users here " Sure you know them" as when I got thumb down in their question I know that my answer really "ouch" hurts.
Also I answered some questions in Israel section & wow I got many of thumbs down & I was so happy:))
What about you , did it happen to you before? Do you remember a question that you got thumbs down & you were happy?
