I send this question because I am happy as at last I reached level 3 so after congratulation & wow & such this staff that I am waiting for plz answer my question:
Have you ever felt that you are happy because you got thumb down in Y/A??
About me in the begining I got annoyed if I got thumb down, then I discovered that there is some ppl give thumb down just for annoying ppl so I didn't care as long as I am satisfied with my answer. Lately I became happy when I got thumb down from some users here " Sure you know them" as when I got thumb down in their question I know that my answer really "ouch" hurts.
Also I answered some questions in Israel section & wow I got many of thumbs down & I was so happy:))
What about you , did it happen to you before? Do you remember a question that you got thumbs down & you were happy?

@Hassafer, I liked thumbs down at Israel section like you, sometimes I messure my answer success from the number of thumbs down I received there.
@ Salah, I just felt like you in the beginig at R&S I tghough that I am freek from all those thumb downs I received.

@Balsam, I don't know who give thumb up & down but I got many of both of them.
But I remeber there is aquestion that Rana asked about the week moment that we pass, I got about 9 thumb up & one thumb down I was happy for the thumbs up as I liked this question very much & there were questions in Israel sections I got many thumbs down for my answer & I was so happy also for that.

First, congratulations on Level 3 and keep around until you reach level ...!!!, as long as it takes :).
If you mean that I feel happy for thumbs down from nasty, envious and black hearted people, yeah, I am thrilled to touch their nerves. When I used to answer questions from Atheists on R&S, I got as many thumbs down as you can imagine and guess what, it made me more than happy.

I think you phrased how we all feel in your question. I do not like getting thumbed and still don't. Getting thumbed down means that person will no longer be able to see your answer. I like it when my thumbed down answer gets chosen as best answer ( by asker or vote) because then my answer is there to stay. :)

i dont bother about thumb down, it's pure envy.
but im glad when i get thumb up.
note: i hate it when someone doesne answer a question but goes on and on writing about islam, moslems, higab, etc. when these issues are out of the question and when islam has done them no harm.
i advise them to get well informed about this great religion, and to get into these issues only when they are asked about them.
im sorry i deal with this point here when i wanted to do so in answering Farah's Q about what would you like to be.
my written answer + this note didnt manage to appear under that question among answrs that show this trend im referring to.

I got happy all the time in israel to be thumbed down , I go there to thumb up every one I know and thumbed down [ usually reported lol ]

if you didn't go to R&S,then you don't know anything about thumbing down....
if there was a q :"what is you religion?"...there will be tens of thumbs down just coz u said i'm muslim....
but these thumbs down really makes me happy and more determined to do what i am doing.....
but recently i didn't get much thumb down...except for the questions about egyptian princess.........

moreover some times i get happy like you as what happened in that one
the q : don't you think that 1973 war was a black point in the israeli history ?
my answer : is there any white point in it's history
it's was in the israeli section so i was expecting thumbs down

i think it's very normal that you get a thumbs down in categories like R&S. There's so much contoversy in there and it's very likely that you'll find many people who totally disagrees with you.
