During the summer months in Egypt, July and August are very hot, but there is less wind than during the winter months. However, when I went to Sharm El Sheikh, the view under water is best in summer and fall, which is good.... :)
Sharm climate is extreme as temperatures can reach 50° C in July. If you tend to go there in July, the heat is likely to make you spend less time on the beach and more time in the water or camel riding. Make sure your children wear hats, use high-factor sunscreens and drink four to six litres of water a day to avoid sunstroke and heatstroke.
But don't worry, even if it's too hot, I will promise you that you will have a fantastic time in Egypt with your family! =)

RE:
Anyone been to Egypt (Sharm) in July? Too Hot?
I am thinking of going to Egypt in July as we went in May this year and loved it. However, it was about 34 degrees and lovely but is it too hot in July? I have 3 and 5 year old that didn't complain once this year so I know they like the heat. Does anyone know what it's like? Have to fit...

I live here in Sharm el Sheikh, so i can tell you that it is very hot in July and August. If you don't mind it, then go ahead, the water is warm and the days long.
I would advise to go in September. The weather is still hot, though not as terribly as August, and the sea is still warm. October is also a wonderful time to visit, it is actually i think the best time to come here. It is warm and pleasent.
On the other hand, if you don't dive or spend too much time in the water, winter is fantastic, even December and January. I love it here during the winter months. The weather is warm during the day, warm enough to swim during most days and at night all you'll need is a light sweater.
I hope all this helps.

Sharm el-Sheikh could be the Sinai Peninsula's significant tourism hub and among the world's prime fishing locations and now you will get there your vacation with assistance from that place hotelbye . Sharm el Sheikh is certainly one of Egypt's most useful locations if you just want to chill out on the beach, and it's a chosen by household trips because of the excellent services on offer. Whether you are here for the mud or the fish living, Sharm el-Sheikh is a great choice for a beach separate after discovering the temples and tombs in the rest of the country. Also, fringed with a white mud beach and swaying palm woods, Naama Bay could be the epicentre of Sharm el-Sheikh's resort life. There are plentiful restaurants, cafés, and souvenir shops if you obtain bored of the mud, but Naama Bay is truly about the beach.

It will be freaking hot in July in Sharm..not all days, but it happens that in this month and Aug too, a heat wave hits to the extent that no one can be seen on the beaches..try to make it earlier by 1 month or later by 2 months..i.e. avoid July and August if you can, if you can't then come and depend on your luck..

I was there in May, and that was hot enough. Wow! I would never touch Sharm, or even lower Egypt, during the summertime. Whew!

July in Egypt is exactly as hot as Arizona, about 110F to 115F. I did not have any problems with the weather, but then again there are so many places to cool off. I used to go to the shoot club in Giza.

hot hot hot . and mosquito's to boot. bug spray is necessity. there is a reason why those beds in hotels have canopy nettings over them. LOL. I was naive and thought it was good decorating my first time there. LOL ...LOL... Boy, did I find out ! I was eaten alive during the night. I was so swollen and allergic to them that I had to have a physician make a visit to me at the hotel room.
I liked it too. Lots of history to see. Cairo and the pyramids were incredible. A majority of the people were friendly and the food was good compared to rest of the middle east. Was a little hard to comprehend the five year olds working as parking car attendants . but the kids can drive. also strange to see was men slapping women to the ground on street corners/lights. no one says anything.
florida is very hot in the summer and people survive it. the people in egypt live there and tolerate it. the place is inhabitable.lol. it's just really a decision you must make if you want to deal with the heat.
