well a glass which is half full of liquid usually contains 1/2 volume of liquid (therefore it is half full) and 1/2 volume of surrounding gas (in our case air, so half empty)...hence my glass is half full and half empty at the same time

and how come if i never touched it

seems like someone has done something to it
see why i prefer mugs to glass cups
you can't tell whether it's half full or half emty =P

My glass is both half full & half empty.
I have to know the empty half to try to fill it & to focus on the full half to thank Allah for it.
