First class is a little bit more luxurious than tourist class...
But it's a lot more expensive...
The only time I would by a first class ticket is if I'd have to travel from one side of the country to the other (traveling over two hours) during the peak hours... and only because there are a lot of commuters to the major cities (Antwerp, Ghent, Brussels,...)

Both excellent. Belgium only a small country and as such travelling in it I'd take T Class. However, journeying out / going in I'd take their F Class internationals.

On the continent all trains are far Superior to the UK's. + the cost is far less.
