If you will be renting a car, yes, you will need to have a car seat. Most charge extra if you want them to provide the seat, or you can bring your own.

If you will be using a transfer, such as a taxi, bus, towncar, etc. You are not required by law to use a car seat. Anytime you use a public transfer Orlando does not require a car seat. I believe they did this because of so many buses and such being used for the theme parks and things. Usually children that should be in a car seat sit on the parents lap if a car seat isn't available. Most taxis and towncars (most transfer companies as well) will have a car seat, especially if you request one, so even if you don't want to bring your own you should still be okay.

I think it is a good idea to bring a car seat just to be on the safe side, if you will be using public transportation. You will definitely want to have one if you will be driving a rental car.

Have a great time!

Yes - you should be able to reserve a car seat at the time of booking you hire car - some companies charge and others don't. Usually there is a damage deposit too. Enjoy your holiday!

Same answer as all the others before me YES.

We have travelled with Virgin and BA and they allow you to check in your usual car seat in addition to your usual baggage allowance.

If you do that it means your little one is in a seat that is familiar - very important when they are tired. Plus you know that any of the stains are actually your own.

Always check with your travel agent/airline to confirm this.
