To create a money order, you need to go to one of the following:
- - your local bank (and they'll draw it up in whatever currency you wish ... but you pay the value plus fees in Canadian dollars)
- - the local Canada Post office (they'll make the money order in the other country's funds and you pay in Canadian dollars)
- - the local Western Union office (they'll do the same as Canada Post or the bank, but at a higher fee)

To obtain cash from an international money order sent to you, you need to go to a bank (where you will receive the value of the money order in Canadian currency, less the conversion fees).

i could somewhat take it in to the financial institution extremely than use the financial institution gadget. the subject is wether the funds order is in Canadian or American forex. suitable now the value of the Canadian greenback is up, besides the fact that it continues to be no longer at par. you are going to take merely somewhat a loss if this is in Canadian money.

I am not positive but I think American Express Money orders are good worldwide. They can be purchased at pretty much any bank.

Good Luck.
