Hello, we are travelling to Boracay (9/15 - 9/18)and Bohol (9/19-9/22) in mid September. Our route is fly from Manila to Boracay, fly over to Cebu and take the ferry to Tagbilaran, then fly from Tagbilaran to Manila. Since we are making connections at Cebu, I thought of maybe staying overnight (9/18) and exploring the sites - might as well since we are already there. What must see places in Cebu can we visit in only one day? Do we seek a tour guide or do the touring ourselves? Also since it's low season and more budget friendly, we've thought about just purchasing airline tickets and scouting hotels/lodges/inn once we get to Boracay, Cebu and Bohol, then book tours at the hotels. Would you advise that versus purchasing an entire package? This is our first trip back after 11 years so I'm really excited about planning this and exploring our beautiful country! Any insights would be appreciated!

P.S. We aren't sticklers for fancy resorts, as long as there's A/C & safe, we're all good.

I'm going to Vegas for my 21st birthday and there will be 4 adults (ages: 22,23,24,and me! 21!!!) We will fly the morning of April 4th and come back Tuesday the 8th. I think it would be soo cool if people could get on a submarine and go down to the depths of the oceans and see out from inside a commercial submarine. The accomodations would be just like a cruise ship but only travelling underwater. Wouldn't that be awesome?

Many times when getting directions we already know how to get 90% of the way there. We just need the last few roads.

So, how can I get MapQuest to give me directions from, say a Route 93 exit, instead of all the way back at my home?

I am thinking of moving to Twin Falls, but know little abaout it. I have done my research online, but a friend told me there is a "strong white racial presence" there. Looking for a good year round swim program for the kids, and would like to live in a nicer area of town, even though I know the city is really nice. Which are the nicer suburbs that are still between 200 and 250,000 for housing with good school districts. Not afraid to drive 20 minutes. I have read that NE of the city is really nice, but I really don't have that much information. Any info would be appreciated about locations, zip codes, school districts and year round swimming.
