It is about 500 pound, but coming to Amsterdam you do not need pounds, but you need Euro.
It is about 743 Euro, but expect it to buy less than you would, say expect it to be worth as much as $700, because the relative worth of the currencies.

Sangura, where did you find the currency converter for Guilders?
The Guilder has not been used the last 6 years and can now only be exchanged at one!!! bank office in the country, paper money only.
We use Euros now.

1,000.00 USD = 504.443 GBP

United States Dollars ------- United Kingdom Pounds
1 USD = 0.504443 GBP --- 1 GBP = 1.98238 USD

**If you're going to Amsterdam it would be a little more sensible to use the Euro....

1,000.00 USD = 745.425 EUR
United States Dollars - Euro
1 USD = 0.745425 EUR - 1 EUR = 1.34152 USD

At the moment $1 = 1.7800 Dutch Guilders. You should get roughly 1,780.0000 Dutch Guilders for $1,000
In British pounds $1000 = £504.4520 or $1=£0.5044
Hope that this helps.
