I am thinking of moving to Twin Falls, but know little abaout it. I have done my research online, but a friend told me there is a "strong white racial presence" there. Does anyone know anything about that? Not that that would bother me, and I am white, but I just want to know what I am gettin into over there. Are the people friendly? Are there many jobs? Etc...

Yeah sorry to be frank but DON'T.

A strong racial presence is basically gang related I would say.

Twin Falls is one of the top towns in Idaho dealing with shootings and gang fights.

There is really nothing in Twin Falls, it is more of a trashy end city. All that is really there is a stop and go city full of fast food places, hotels, and shops and commercial buildings.

It is a very low end city the people aren't exactly friendly.

Really. Do not. The city is not worth it.

Boise would be an excellent choice. You can find affordable housing, jobs, and the community is very welcome. Jerome is a very very small farm city but a very peaceful and pleasant one as well.

I would not do Twin Falls. The crime is also very high. An officer was shot and almost killed a few months ago trying to stop gang related issues.

Twin Falls is a wide spot on the highway between Salt Lake City and Boise. There isn't much there - period. There is a canyon w/water falls that is the attraction. Also, lots of potato farming.

Regarding racial - pretty sure the Aryan Nation white supremacists group calls Idaho home?
