Im going next year and am really excited. Wasnt anywhere I'd ever thought of going but mums getting married there so hence the trip! Its free aswell! Excited about the rollercoaster and reverse bungee at the stratosphere hotel! Anyone been on it and whats it like? Scary? Also like to know what the Grand canyon trip is like if anyone knows........one more thing..How hot is it in degrees in August?

I'm watching the news the last days and I feel really sad.All those fires all over Greece,all those animals killed,all those forests destroyed.Can we do something?Shouldn't we the citizens demand from the goverment to have the forests reforestated?Can't we all work together and try and do something?How can anybody organise this?Via email?Via press?Any ideas?

Which are the links i go to to find cheap international travel ?

i mean - bucket fares ( whatever they are )
- cheap fars booked in advance
- last minute deals
- schemes and packages given by airlines or countries from time to time ( for ex - , i got a travellers pass from SA airways ten years back, a sri lankan fight plus hotel pacage 5 years back, a malaysian airline 3 stop deal 2 years back.......) any one shop website hosting links to all these deals ?

We go to the new jersey aquaduct and their ok.....and i know conway's..their the fits place im goin 2 go.i've been to new york 43 times on shoppnig trips but i never to seem to find cheap and trendy stuff.........i have plenty of money ucz i saned up coins andim goin to cash them in at coinstar i have 2o plus my parents r goin to give me 300 hundred plz help.....im going to augst 2nd....so not much time......!..im also getting clothes for back to school so plz ppl..al im asking is for some heap but trendy stores (no one mention H&M cuz their stuff is ugly and and over priced)

I was looking at some pics and saw a litttle banner that said "smile you are on a stratosphere webcam". I looked on the website and there was no webcam. Also, are the World Tower rooms right behind the big tower?

Hi

I'm thinking of going to Paphos in November, hopefully the first week. Has anyone been at that time? I'd like to know whether it will be warm or not.

Also, how is the nightlife at that time of year? I know there is a rock bar called TC's, but is that the only one? Not really into the usual dance and RnB and would like somewhere I won't feel out of place!

i played blackjack at the orleans for hours at about $15 avg hand, but forgot to redeem the comps befoe i left vegas. how do i know what i've earned? i remember trying to ask the booth before, but they sai they keep track of slot play only on the cards and the pitbosses keep track of your play. i plan to make another trip next month, will my points accumulated on the card still be good? will the pitboss be able to still tell how i played?

I plan on backpacking europe for 2 months starting in sep. I was wondering what size backpack to buy. I have been lookin at 4000 cu. in. (60-65L) packs. I am really liking the Osprey Atmos 65. Anyone have any tips or comments on what I should look for or how big a pack I need? Any tips on bacpacking are more than appreciated. Thanks

I'm looking for a state park or public beach on Long Island that allows stargazing (I am getting a permit). Does anyone know a specific place where the skies are dark and I can get a good dview of the Perseids meteor shower on August 20th? I am thinking about Sunken Meadow State Park or Crab Meadow State Park, both on the North Shore...is there much light pollution from Connecticut, which is right across the Long Island Sound? Any input would be helpful. Thanks.

15 years ago my father lived in Japan for a year, and now he want's to go back on Holiday next year. As he was out there working, he didn't really visit that many places, and obviously a lot will have changed. He lived near Mt. Fuji, so didn't travel too far from there. Where are good places to visit across Japan? and where, if anywhere, should we avoid?

My family and I are going on an Alaskan cruise this week and since I'm 21 and my sister is 18 we're afraid we'll get bored being the only young girls there. When we went to the caribbean there were a lot of young people (naturally, it's cheaper and tropical) but I'm not sure about this one.

I have an 11:25 a.m. flight out of DFW tomorrow morning, and I live in Austin (~3 hours away). I'm wondering how early I need to leave Austin to make sure I get on my flight on time, and what my parking options are. I'm not worried about getting to Dallas quickly, but I am worried about hitting nasty traffic once I get there. How long should I expect it to take me to get from 35W to DFW on 121N and 183E around 9 a.m. on a workday? Am I crazy to try this?
