The river walk is soo busy and loud its kind of hard to be romantic at a restaurant. Walking down the riverwalk with someone you love is always fun, there are a few quite areas. But for dinning, I'm not to sure. ***** is a very fun restaurant, they waiters are rude and make jokes, and sometimes you get a penis hat. ***** is a good place if your in the mood for a laugh, but if you get offended easily, i don't recommend it.

You can try the tower of Americas which isn't to far from the river walk. they take you up to the very top of the building, and the room slowly spins, you see a lot of SA. Try it at night, the lights are beautiful! Its kind of pricey though!

have fun!

A local favorite for some time now, Le Reve brings upscale French dining to the picturesque River Walk. Requiring reservations and with a strict dress code, Le Reve is for those who desire a unique, leisurely and indulgent dining experience. Exuding a laid-back Euro-style feel, the restaurant is minimalist in decor, with little more than candlelight to brighten the room. Therefore, the atmosphere is modern, yet romantic and intimate. There are only about one dozen tables out front, with a few more private seating areas and some banquet rooms in the back.

Specializing in contemporary French cuisine, the menu changes periodically. Each dish is made from scratch by Chef Andrew Weissman, so diners should expect a wait for a magnificent fresh meal. The locale is ideal for a dinner prior to exploring notable downtown venues or simply lingering over a romantic meal while viewing the River Walk.

Do not go to any of the mexican restaurants down the river walk. they are way over priced and gross. Try market square instead.. I do recommend Dick's... they sell burguers and stuff.. tons of fun
