My fiance and I were born in Los Angeles and have lived here all our lives. I've recently been considering moving to Vegas because the cost of living here (esp. home prices) are ridiculous.
So for those of you who live there...how is it? How is the job market? Has anyone moved from LA to Vegas?

My father's mother was born in Italy. My sisters and I wanted to see if we were qualified to apply for dual citizenship, however our father was born before 1948, in 1942. The website we were provided stated our father had to be born in our native country after January 1, 1948. Why is that? Is there any way around this? Thanks!

I'm sick of living in Michigan. It has no good jobs that are hiring and it's not even beautiful. I want to move to a warmer state, that has a lot of offering jobs and is just beautiful.

I have visited those former death camps, I have seen the footage that the Nazis were foolish enough to film, it is heart breaking for me to see what happened to our people is being repeated still to this very day, by our own, to anyone else. Violence can not always be the answer to everything, can it? Are we shaming the memories of our familiy members who perished and were tortured for no good reason? Would they be pleased with us if they were to see us now?

I'm going to Mardi Gras 08 for my 25th birthday. It's my 2nd time to NOLA for Mardi Gras (last time was 2004) and I was wondering what kind of stuff I can do in the area besides the usual French Quarter, Uptown, Garden District, ect.. type sightseeing. I have only flown a couple of times so I don't know where to sit.
I'm a bit of a nerves flyer so I want suggestion on the most comfortable place.

My fiance has asked me which country in Europe I would want to move to. The only international language I speak is English, though he is fluent in English and French. I don't think I want to be in the UK, and seems like every other European country has a national language.....Is there at least one country out there that has English as a second language? Help!!

I really don't know how to go about relocating. I'll have to get a job out there and find a place to live with my boyfriend who will also have to get a job.
