Need to relocate from Pennsylvania to Las Vegas?

Question

I really don't know how to go about relocating. I'll have to get a job out there and find a place to live with my boyfriend who will also have to get a job. Does anyone have any advise on relocating to vegas, jobs, places to live, how to start going about this? This will all take place in about a year to year and a half. Any type of advise will be appreciated.

O.K., to start, we are probably looking at an apartment first, and as far as work goes, I can get anything from office work to photographer, to marketing and even sales. I'm probably easier for a job cause I have experience in several areas. My BF is a Pharmaceutical Operator and will probably need work at a Pharmacuetical Wholesale plant, but he also has several years tile and flooring experience and also, I guess you can say manufacturing work as far as he worked for Martin Guitar making guitars at their factory. We both have family and a friend out their now, butta, my family is military so kinda unfamiliar with the job scene out there, and our friend goes to school out there and is also unfamiliar with the job scene. Any helpful tips or advice is very much so appreciated.

I moved from Pittsburgh to Las Vegas over 14 years ago. My only regret is not doing it sooner. You will have no problem finding a job...there are tons of marketing opportunities out here. Your BF should look at Medco Health, a division of Merck. They operate a wholesale plant in Henderson with over 2,000 employees.

you can find a place easily in las vegas. the best areas are southwest, green valley, henderson and northwest. jobs are kinda hard to find......most of them don't offer insurance and don't pay that much. other than that vegas is a great place to live....always something to do!! good luck
