I am looking to have dinner at/ inside a winery. Does anyone know of a winery that takes dinner reservations? Which ones? Any reviews?

the only restaurant in a winery is the one at Domaine Chandon. It is strictly prohibited for any winery in Napa County except Chandon to have a restaurant.
I went there many years ago and it was good. Though very old fashioned. It has since gone through some changes and now is called Etoile. YOu can make reservations on their website. It has gotten decent reviews locally.

However, if it were me, and I were dining in the napa area I would prefer to go to either Bistro Don Giovanni in Napa or Cindy's Back Street Kitchen in St. Helena. Two very good restaurants.

EDIT - there is no restaurant at Mumm. they may have small tasting plates with the wine tasting but not a restaurant.

V. Sattui, sort of has a restaurant, it is more like deli shop to take to picnic grounds.

Etoile in Domaine Chandon, and Mumms pop to mind. I've heard good things about Etoile, and the one in Mumms has good food, just a little less expensive than Etoile.
