Why are the Christians in Beirut being targeted with violence? It seems that the muslims are smiling in their faces then stab the christians in the back as soon as they can.
I am just trying to understand the political climate.

The goal is to eradicate Christians and have muslims dominate world wide. Hence, the smile.

Understand the political climate DONT EVEN TRY. I heard your argument yesterday, but i just dont believe it. Because from a touristic point of view when you hit any part of lebanon whether christian or muslim part then you are destroying the tourism in all the country. and muslims would not benefit from that.

I don't think all muslims are evil at all...I don't think all christians are good either..I am Christian by the way. BUT....let me say one thing...THis war that has been going on forever just proves that muslim have a stronger side of being violent. I mean there is proof everywhere of it. Lebanon, Syria, The turks massacring the Armenians. the list goes on...i wish the violence would just stop

The line between religion and politics is so blurred ... there will always be radical politicians and radical religious believers who take matters into their own hands. It's a combination of groupthink, mob mentality, and morals, ethics, values, and norms that have seemingly been set in stone (a manual for survival and revolution), and fueled by fear. Christians are being killed because the radical Muslims see Christianity as a threat.
Christians have committed many acts of violence for their cause, politically and religiously.

you must know something that I don't, where is all this happening? which muslims are stabbing which christians in the back? if you can please edit your question, support these claims with actual facts so that we are aware of this backstabbing and so we can answer you properly.
The christians have been targeted for a while now and if you have evidence that the culprits are the muslims who are smiling in our face and then backstabbing us, I'd like to know, the police would like to know, the government would like to know, actually the whole world seems to want to know.

if you agree with that Kuffar, no offense you're a dumb ***** and he is a sharmoot for stating such nonsense. This question should be the other way around, why are Muslims being oppressed since 9/11? So the taliban recked the building, doesn't mean you have to blame a population of a billion Muslims labeling them terriosts. What a biased opinion u have man. Muslims as well as christians are being killed there. Seems like now i see there are christian as well as muslim extremists. Im christian lebanese but i get along with both sides and im not a slave of any of those thugish leaders. I like the way harriri talks, his message is a brother of love message. The rest are scum

i agree on one part, yes christians are being targeted.
& i guess who ever is doing it, wants people like you to feel this way, and reach this conclusion.
lebanon can never rise back, unless christians and muslims unit. to build a country for our children where they can live safe.

Hey you guys, Islam does not force itself on people the way Christians do. That is not a fair statement. I think muslims in Lebanon have some problem with the Christians not because of religion but because the Christians have sold out a lot and get too astray from God.
