I'll be in Vegas June 14th -17th, besides sitting by the pool, drinking, and gambling...anybody have any nice ideas on what to do out there, or know of any good shows music, theatre, otherwise you can get into for less than 50 bucks?

If you are willing to spend an hour or so listening to a spiel on buying into condo shares/vacation resorts you can get complimentary tickets to a show and a free buffet usually. Who knows, you may actually want to buy some timeshares.... someday... later... or never. But the free show is always a nice benefit.

What you should really do is look for the title: Half Price Tickets or Tickets 2 Night. These places have tickets to many of the best Vegas shows i.e. Tournament of Kings, The Scintas, and La Reve. The only thing is you have to get there as early as you can to be first in line because these ticket seller companies get really busy during the day. I would reccommend Penn & Teller but the tickets cost at least $100 each.☺

yes the wet-n-wild water park closed a few years ago.

if you like amusement parks, you should go to the circus circus hotel and casino for their indoor amusement park called the adventuredome.
you can also do some shopping or explore the chinatown. it's close to the strip.
also, check out the stratosphere hotel and casino. you can't miss it, it's the tallest building in las vegas(1,149 ft/350 m) and there's a rollercoaster, observation deck, and many other thrill rides at the top. plus, it offers an amazing view of the city.
