I am traveling to Mexico in a few weeks by cruise ship. I have applied for an American passport about 10 weeks ago; my birth certificate was required to be sent along with my application. I am getting concerned as I may have neither passport nor birth certificate on the day the ship is scheduled to sail. What ather documents will be accepted to enter Mexico and back to U.S. by cruise ship. Thanks

My friend from Scotland, her husband (in their 30's), and her parents (retired but love travel) are going to Vegas tomorrow. I have some ideas on things to do, they'll separate some of the time. Where do I suggest the parents (about 70-ish) go, and where do I suggest my friends go?

I'm going on a long car trip from Texas to New Orleans, and I need a way to stay up that long. Coffee won't be readily available, but I might be able to bring some with me, but it'll get cold. I was wondering if energy gum or energy drinks work, and if not, what should I try instead? This trip is in less than a week so your help is welcome!!
