Not sure what kinds of suggestions you are looking for, but here are some things in general as I think of them:

1) Many RV Parks have monthly rates, especially off-season. They don't usually advertise this, and often the monthly spaces are limited to a percentage of the total spaces, but the avg. cost per month when doing this is $300-$500, depeding on a number of factors.

2) When hooked up to sewer, you can keep grey water valves open, but leave the black water tank valve closed and dump it when it is almost full, or just before you go on the road. This keeps sludge from building up. Also, after dumping, flush through clear water, or keep grey water tank valves closed as well and dump after the black water tank, this will clean out the hose somewhat.

3) Stop early when traveling, most RV parks close by 8 or 9, earlier in off-season. Usually they will have information for late arrivals, but not always. Also, campgrounds fill up quickly, and RV parks often do as well, esp. during peak season, holidays, weekends.

4) Always turn refrigerator off while traveling. There is an option to use propane to power it while on the road, but this is a fire hazard. Most items will keep cold through a day of travel, esp. if packed well.

5) If staying in one place for several months, rent a larger outside propane tank, esp in winter if using heat, this will be so much easier than constantly refilling the small RV propane tanks, and is worth the extra cost.

6) To clean black water tank every once in awhile, before you go on the road, empty one or two bags of ice cubes down the toilet. They will knock particles off the sides of the tank, and melt so you can dump it all out later on.

Will add more as i think of some ... brain is addled, lol
