In Missouri, they still impose "loss limits" which limit the amount of chips/tokens you can purchase during a two-hour period.
There are five casinos in the metro St. Louis area. The President Casino is located at Laclede's landing close to the Arch downtown, and the Casino Queen (which doesn't impose loss limits because it's in Illinois) is just across the river (the Metro Rail runs every few minutes between the two sides of the river).
Out near Earth City (where you find Dave and Busters, and convenient to the airport), there's AmeriStar in St. Charles, which is a favorite of many, and also MY personal favorite, Harrah's.
Finally, there's the Argosy Casino Alton IL, which is about 25-30 miles from downtown St. Louis, and it's also in Illinois so there's no loss limits.
Good luck!

Well, I think that would depend on where your staying. If you stay downtown, try either the president or Casino Queen. If you are a non-smoker I would recommend President. They have higher ceilings than CQ, so the smoke does not hang. I have heard smokers complain about thickness of smoke on CQ.
If you are staying away from downtown (in the counties) then I would recommend either Ameristar in St. Charles or Harrahs in Maryland Heights. I do not have a preference on either.
Last on the list I would say is Argosy. Its in Alton, so it the most inconvenient among them.. Also, its a smaller boat and the games are pushed closer together. Very cramped.

The Lumiere place lodge is large and the 4 Seasons is right next to it. they are appealing motels and that they are suitable on the river so as which you will get an somewhat solid view! the in basic words draw back for you're that they are placed suitable next to/alongside with the Lumiere on line on line casino. it would count in case you care in the experience that your infants are around that or no longer. even nevertheless, this is a smart, new on line on line casino and there are some cool places to devour there. Plus, you're suitable at Laclede's touchdown which additionally has smart eating places like the former Spaghetti production unit.

I would have to agree with the poster above me. Ameristar is my favorite casino....I avoid nearby Harrahs, I simply don't like the "feel" there.
