Dear Friends,
Please provide me with some info on how to book a low budget flight from Istanbul to Izmir. I will be in Istanbul in June. Onur Air web site is down most of the time. I cannot book online through atlas air also. What about traveling by ferry to Bandirma and then taking the bus to Izmir. I heard that is the fastest way after flying. Please help.

Filipinos are taught English in school from kindergarten to college. Some were taught English as their first language. We are bombarded by tv shows, magazines, newspapers, radio shows ALL in Englsish. But why is it that a lot of Filipinos who can't speak American English? Well, just today, I talked to somebody who said: "I goh toh Jaleebeh ebree feydey." (I go to Jollibee every payday). English skills are very important in a lot of jobs, even some nannies are required to be able to speak it conversationally. Oh, I hate that "colegiala English", when they would say "let's go na to the mall, i want to buy a skirt eh." GRRRR. The main focus of our schools (public and private) is to teach students well.

Don't get me wrong, I am not a perfect speaker of the language but I am just apalled at how we can be taught something for so long and still not get it right!

Please explain!

In my house I will talk about 6 rooms.

The first room is my room. It isn't very big but it isn't small. I sleep here and use the computer.

The second room is my living room. It has a television and a sofa. It is next to the kitchen, were I eat.

The third room is my brothers room. I was my room but I moved out 4 years ago. It is on the second story.

The fourth room is my parents room. It is the biggest room and has a lot of things.

The fifth room is my laundry room. It has a washer and dryer and it is very small.

The sixth room is the room under my stairs. This room is also very small. When I was young I used to play video games under it.

Im still pretty young and I would love to live there for a while. What kind of work and school opportunities are available for US citizens. Are there any universities where I could study for my masters degree? Where is a good area in London to live in? Is there any places to play poker? Are foreigners allowed to invest in real estate? I just recently moved. It was a state to state move, and I haven't left the state I was living in for over 20 years so this was a big change. Not sure if I like it yet - moved from Michigan to Alabama, not that I miss the snow and cold by any means. Anyway.........what state do you live in and do you like it and why? I was planning to book a room through Hotwire, but am afraid that this might be the hotel. I stayed there once & it was so awful that I actually threw out the voucher for a free night's stay that I received pursuant to sending corporate a detailed letter. Recent reviews sound good, but...I thought I'd try this route too before risking it. Thanks.
