There are all different types of restrictions on what you can and can not bring on the aircraft with you in both your carry on and checked luggage. If you are traveling in the US I suggest that you visit the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ for Canadian travelers you can visit this site http://www.tc.gc.ca/air/menu.htm and for travelers in Europe http://www.baa.com/

Hope this helps and have a great trip!

You can't take (apart of sharp objects, or pressurized liquid, say hairspray and so on) more than 100ml of liquid, any food, no make up.
What happens is they will throw away your food and drinks (if over 100ml), and put ur make up in a transparent bag just 4 showing. they might also ask u to sip ur drinks.
If u have a baby to carry on board, just one nappy, 100ml ob baby food and 100 ml of milk only.
Pls leave ur guns and bombs at home ;) have a good trip

it varies from airline to airline and airport to airport but as a general rule apart from the obvious like firearms etc no sharp objects some airlines let you take lighters only 1 piece of hand luggage and that varies from airline to airline the best way is to check with the Airline and or Airport you are using and I am telling you this as a person who travels a lot
