My fiance and I are wanting to take a very little trip away from home for 2 days. I am wondering if ya'll have any ideas. We live in Greenville, SC, and are wanting to go somewhere by driving. We just need to get away from home for a bit. We are looking for somewhere small that has some attractions like outdoorsy stuff and maybe a lil shopping. If we go to ur destination, u get best answer. Oh, an it has to be somewhere near, not too far, basically northern Geirgia, and wester SC, and basically anywhere in SC, some parts of Tenn. is ok too. THank u.

My fiance wants to stay at the Stratosphere and I want to stay at the Monte Carlo. We would be paying about $20 a night more for where I want to stay.
Which one is better. The location of the Monte Carlo looks better to me for all the action.

I am going to Europe in May and I will be in Venice on my birthday. Can anyone recommend something fun to do to celebrate?? something not too expensive. Either a nice restaurant, sights, boat ride? I have no idea what could make the day special.

And I'm looking for a nice hotel to spend the night in the city- under $100/night?

I know the real estate is high, and I know there's a lot of nothin' in Wyoming, but what is Sheridan like? Looks good in the pictures. Thinking of moving there where hubby can hunt and where the air is clean. I'd mention wide-open spaces, but Kansas has those too (where I am now). Is it real windy? Hello... I am a psychotherapist in private practice in Texas and I direct an adolescent substance abuse residential treatment center as well. I am likely to be offered a clinical position with a defense contractor that provides mental health services for our military families on base there... I was hoping that someone could tell me what life will be like for me there, what I need to make the transition, what housing is like, dollars vs. Euros, and my chances of meeting people to be friends with...I am 39, male, single, will make a good living...also, I wanted to know about how easy it is to travel...this is my chance to see the world! I have never been outside the US much less outside of Texas (no jokes please...) and I want to see the wonderful places that Europe has to offer... Are Americans treated well there? Most hotels add at least $10 per extra person beyond 2 per night. What happens if I make the reservation under the assumption that only 2 people will be staying, when I actually plan on having 4 people in one room. Will the Hotel fine me if I get caught, or will they simply add the extra fee for each additional guest to my bill?
