I use to be a flight attendant and all of us always brought a guy with us to our rooms to stand there and wait for us to check everything out before we were left alone in the room. There were a lot of crazy cases of flight attendants being killed. I still to this day do it just to be safe. You never know these days. I don't blame you at all.

Absolutely never.

A hotel room to me is like a blank sheet of paper.

If I had to think that it might be occupied, it would totally ruin the experience.

It's like thinking the glass is half empty, my friend.

My glass is always half full... my blank sheets of paper are always nice and clean.... and my hotel rooms are unoccupied when I walk in.

I check to see how clean the room is. If there a dust bunnies the size of bunnies in any area of the room I complain to the hotel to get upgrades.

I have to look everywhere...
I don't sleep without checking absolutely everywhere, locking everything and closing all curtains...
Hotel rooms heighten my phobias because they are new to me.
But i get like it at home sometimes too.

No but I pull off blankets, pillows, and bedspread and put them in the closet. Then I inspect the sheets to make sure that they are clean. LOL
