I know the real estate is high, and I know there's a lot of nothin' in Wyoming, but what is Sheridan like? Looks good in the pictures. Thinking of moving there where hubby can hunt and where the air is clean. I'd mention wide-open spaces, but Kansas has those too (where I am now). Is it real windy? Don't mind cold and snow, not sure about wind. What say you?

Hi BigDog -- Nothing wrong with the deer or pheasant here; hubby just loves big game (Big, BIG game) and mountains nearby. Not too many mountains in the great plains!
P.S. You mean hot summer, not hot winter?! ;-) What about wind?

I want the same thing! Sheridan is Sheridan. The people I've gotten to know are great! Very friendly! And neighborly! The weather can get cold in the winter, and hot in the winter, but you just hang around for awhile and it will change. I find hunting a little better in Montana close to or north of Yellowstone. At least for elk.

When you get outside Sheridan, it's just like you say. Miles and miles of nothing but miles and miles of beautiful country.

What's wrong with the pheasant hunting and deer hunting in Kansas?
