They are all pretty much in the same league, not much difference, but if I had to choose I'd go Monto Carlo, Luxor and Treasure Island in that order... I've never been to MGM so can't say about them.

Monte Carlo and Treasure Island both would top the list with 4 stars. Service and cleanliness would be even compared to Bellagio. Size would be considered large for Las Vegas and easy to navigate.
Bellagio and Venetian are the two top properties in Las Vegas because of luxury and are no doubt considered 5 star.
Luxor and MGM are both huge properties but think that they get too crowded and that detracts from their luxuriousness. Most of the touristy crowds go to both of them, New York, New York, Circus Circus, Caesar's and Excalibur for the attractions.
I'd pick Monte Carlo or TI. Hope this helps!

The MGM is nice, pretty decent service. I actually stayed there a couple of months ago and had some complaints. I don't care for the new rooms, not worth the $$. The regular deluxe room was much nicer.
Monte Carlo overall is beautiful. However, the walls are very thin and you can hear the entire conversations (and anything else) going on in the room next door to you.
Luxor has oddly shaped rooms that you might consider uncomfortable.
It's been a long time since I've been to Treasure Island. Sorry I can't give you any information on that one.

I've only stayed at the Bellagio. It's Beautiful. As far as the casino's go: Bellagio, Monte Carlo, Luxor, MGM are beautiful. I've never been to Treasure Island.

This can depend on your own tastes. MGM is art deco. Luxor has high standards but the room is smaller. Monte Carlo is lighter in color and has some inter sting exhibits.
Check Las Vegas Yahoo Travel and their own web sites and just choose what you like.

What is the best hotel in Las Vegas varies according to what you want out of your hotel. If you plan on spending a lot of time in your room having sex, any room will do, so any of those hotels is fine. If you plan on spending a lot of time gambling, all four hotels have a casino, take your pick. If you want to go to other hotels and casinos on the strip, I wouldn't stay at Luxor since it's at the very south of the Las Vegas Strip and you'd have to take a cab to get around. For the young to middle aged crowd, I'd definitely recommend TI or MGM. Good clubs, good food, good crowd, and good location on the strip.

I would say MGM. Ive stayed at Luxor and it was a bit outdated. MGM was very clean with descent sized rooms. The MGM is on the best part of the strip in my opinion.
