My fiance and I are wanting to take a very little trip away from home for 2 days. I am wondering if ya'll have any ideas. We live in Greenville, SC, and are wanting to go somewhere by driving. We just need to get away from home for a bit. We are looking for somewhere small that has some attractions like outdoorsy stuff and maybe a lil shopping. If we go to ur destination, u get best answer. Oh, an it has to be somewhere near, not too far, basically northern Geirgia, and wester SC, and basically anywhere in SC, some parts of Tenn. is ok too. THank u.

Hilton Head Island. My wife and I just got back from there last weekend. It's a little chilly this time of year but still beautiful.
Outdoorsy is what we are all about too. We went for a long beach walk from the resort we stayed at. Then the next day we went for a hike thru the nat'l preserve. We got to see some dolphins from the beach and were hoping to see an aligator in the nature preserve but we did not.

i say you go to some odd mountain and attempt to sleep in a tent! its always fun
