Ontario is a huge province. You'll have to be more specific about which area. In the south, there will be signs of spring, with some days above zero. But March can also bring big winter storms as well. Further north, you will experience more winter-like conditions until later in the spring.

Ahhh.....the March winds in T.O.
If sunny and warm you will get a nice wind burn.
I'll be wearing my shorts next week.
If you decide to party in March, have fun.
If cold you should try a BBQ party in the snow. Its fun. Make snow angels when you can't stand up no more from drinking.
Take care & good luck.

March is transitional, sometimes it still can feel like the middle of winter, cold and snowing, and sometimes it's like spring, bright and sunny, and somewhat warmer, but certainly not summer yet. It is kind of a crapshoot, and I'd suggest you prepare for every possibility.

Do you not live here?
It's up and down. They say March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb, and they're generally right. Usually towards the end it's better. The very end, of course. :)
