Just an observation....I travel a lot. When I was younger, I remember young, energetic, friendly and very professional staff. Nowadays (the counter staff included), all I see in old, miserable cows more intent on gossiping and generally treating every question or query you have like its a battle.

No I am not referring to Easyjet.

In US you have to be 21 to drink but a lot of clubs let in 18 yr olds they just dont wrist band them... Canadian clubs dont do that kind of thing?

I have made reservations for a room at Paris in Las Vegas, but have never stayed in that hotel before. Does anyone have any tips or hints about the rooms? I'm not a gambler, so I don't expect any comps, but do I have any leeway in requesting certain areas or where the room should be? Do they have non-smoking floors? Good views? I read in a book magazine somewhere that there was a website you could join, that no matter what airline you flew they would gain you miles that you could use for any airline. So if I flew AA and received 1400 miles it would go into a acccount, fly United it goes into the same account and can all be combined when read to redeem on any airline. Anyone familiar?
