Me and the family are moving to San Diego because my husband is being stationed there (he's in the navy). We're a pretty young couple (early 20's) with 1 year old twin boys, and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good neighborhood for an affordable price. I am looking for opinions on casinos in Las Vegas, specifically those in hotels. I don't gamble so I do not know, really, what exactly I am seeking. Best odds, maybe? How about atmosphere, service, bar, etc?

I'm a single guy looking to do some site-seeing and visiting the clubs in the area. Which is the best places to go and the most economical places to stay. I will be visiting in May/June 2008 and I am interested in visiting all the famous spots as well as some that are off the beaten path. Are there any not-to-be missed sights? Also, money is a huge factor so anthing that is free would be great! Oh, and I love anything scenic/picturesque and famous sights and historic places. Skip the art museums! Thank you!

I have some questions about this resort that I cannot find answers to on their website.
1. Do they have horseback riding at this resort?

2. What exactly is included w/ the scuba diving? I have heard some resorts only let you go for free the first time. Also, how long is the certification class?

3. Is the resort on a private beach? Is it the 7 mile beach?

4. Are there hammocks on the beach?

5. Are there tables for two in the restaurants or will we be seated w/ other couples?

6. How many restaurants are there? I have seen 4 and 6, depending on the source.

7. Did you have any trouble w/ room mix-ups? Like getting double beds instead of a king? I have heard of this happening.

My friend and I are roadtripping, and I was wondering if there were free places or beaches we could camp in/on. We already know of some parks, but I was wondering if you could camp on any public beaches for free. We'll pay, it's not about that, just want to try and save some $$. Thanks for any input...we've been looking at the state parks and stuff already!
