Travel - 6 February 2007

I would like to take my little girl to Disney World, she's 11 yr. so not so little. But before she becomes a teenager I would love to share this wonderful experience of a life time with her.
I don't have a whole lot of money so I need to do all the reseach I can.

i heard that there is still alot of english people in montreal...how hard is it for them to live there if they dont speak french? do they only stay in english 'hoods? is there limited jobs for them? what if somebody downtown comes up to them on the street and starts talking in french?

I am going to Panama this summer. I have never been to a Spanish speaking country, and I do not speak Spanish that well myself. Somebody told me people in Panama speak Spanish really fast. I have had a Madridian and a Uruguayan professor, and that wasn't so bad, but I don't want it to get that much worse. Please answer only if you know.

I may be moving to Chicago soon for a new job. The job would be located near O'Hare Airport, so I'd like to know about some of the best neighborhoods in that area (or fairly short commute) that are fairly safe in terms of crime, and aren't overly expensive. I know Chicago is more expensive than Cleveland....I have a very nice 2 bedroom apt. that I only pay $745/month for here, and I'd like to try and not go much over that in Chicago if I can....I'll be making slightly more money, so I could go a little higher in price if I have to in order to be in a nice, safe area. Thanks for any advice!
