Kentucky whisky is bourbon; Tennessee whisky is rye (otherwise known as "sour mash").

Don't listen to the haters. Kentucky and Tennessee both have some great whiskys. Kentucky whiskys are called bourbons and are aged in oak casks. My favorites are Maker's Mark, Knob Creek and Woodford Reserve. Tennessee whiskys are generally of lesser quality and are sweeter. The most famous is of course Jack Daniels, but I prefer George Dickel.

Best towns for drinking: Nashville, TN and Louisville, KY.

DON'T TOUCH AMERICAN WHISKEY YOU FOOL

Look what it's done to the Americans!

Go to Scotland and drink the real stuff - note that in Scotland there is no E - whisky.

Those Americans can't spell. They don't even put a U in the word 'colour'.

That's what happens when you drink their whiskey.

You'll come back saying words like "Swell" and "Have a nice day"

Stay away you fool
