I worked on a cruise ship for a couple of years - it was one of the best experiences of my life. I made some great friends - you become a real family as you're with each other day in day out.

I worked in a bar mostly which was great and the chance to sunbathe etc is perfect. Biggest plus is that you get to see so much of the world, I visited all over - most memorable for me is the time i spent in Australia, the bahamas and south America. There were so many more but if you're having doubts don't - you won't regret going!!

My sister has. She worked on a carribean cruise as a beauty therapist. She really enjoyed it. She got her sea legs after a few days. The only real downside is working 12 hour days 7 days a week. She is glad she did it though but one year was enough. Good luck and enjoy.

I was a silver service waitress. It was fun, but hard work, long hours and some of the clients were very rude and had awfully brattish children. I made a few friends I loved and still keep in touch with 2
